About eNTRI Program

Electronic Travel Registration & Information (eNTRI) is an online registration facility to facilitate the entrance of Indian Nationals into Malaysia under the Visa Waiver Program. This program is privately assisting by Windows Malaysia. To be issued as proof of the registration and is required to be presented upon arrival in Malaysia.


Eligible nationalities for eNTRI

All Indian Nationals in India and expatriates residing all over the world excluding Singapore.


eNTRI Validity Period

An eNTRI holder is eligible to stay up to maximum of 15 days from the date of arrival in Malaysia. eNTRI is good for travel within 3 months from the date of issue. No Renewal or Extension is allowed.



Document required for eNTRI

Below listed document are compulsorily required for eNTRI category. All documents should be clearly scanned with all edges visible. No flash or glare in the documents. Use scanner device only.

Recent studio taken photo with white background (Full head and shoulder visible)

Passport Front Page & Last Page

Observation page (If any changes in the passport front page. example: changes in name, dob)

Confirmed roundtrip ticket (Including all route ticket in single file
Example route: India Singapore Malaysia Thailand India)

Applicable Travel Route(Onwards Route)

Applicants with direct flight from India to Malaysia or transit via Singapore, Thailand or Brunei may enter

Eligible Route: India Malaysia OR

Eligible Route: India Singapore/Thailand/Brunei Malaysia

Malaysia through the following entry options:

All authorized Malaysian air entry and exit points by Department of Immigration, Malaysia.

By land Route:

Sultan Iskandar Building Immigration Checkpoint, Johor

Sultan Abu Bakar Checkpoint, Johor

Padang Besar Checkpoint, Perlis

Bukit Kayu Itam Checkpoint, Kedah

Sungai Tujoh Immigration Checkpoint, Sarawak

Tedungan Immigration Checkpoint, Sarawak

Applicable Travel Route(Return Route)

Applicants with direct flight from Malaysia to India or transit via any country may enter

Eligible Route: Malaysia India OR

Eligible Route: Malaysia Indonesia (Any Country) India

Malaysia through the following entry options:

All authorized Malaysian air entry and exit points by Department of Immigration, Malaysia.

By land Route:

Sultan Iskandar Building Immigration Checkpoint, Johor

Sultan Abu Bakar Checkpoint, Johor

Applying Procedure:

For first time applicant are compulsory to register an account by click on Register Now to register your profile.
Registration profile can also be on third party person eg: Travel agent.

For existing applicant, you are required to click on Login Now to return to your account.



Important Condition for eNTRI visa.

Applicants are required to show eNTRI Approval note at the immigration checkpoint for clearance.

This eNTRI scheme is available 01 January 2019 until 31 December 2020 for All Indian nationals excludes residing in Singapore Resident Permit holder.


Delivery method of eVisa

Once your application is processed, then you will receive email/SMS notification to download your Electronic Visa in PDF Format. Applicant need to printout the PDF document in A4 Printout Paper. Colour format is highly recommended. You may need to show at the immigration checkpoint at the airport to get stamp on your passport.

Windows Malaysia is secured private application system to assist in processing & submitting your application through secured channel and intermediate between applicant and visa processing center.



List of document present at the Immigration checkpoint

The following listed documents to be present on demand at the airport Immigration checkpoint:

Your Approved eNTRI printout in A4 Paper

Sufficient funds (Cash/ Traveler’s Cheque/Debit or Credit Cards) to cover expenses during your stay at Malaysia

Confirmed Roundtrip ticket.

Proof of accommodation/Hotel confirmation
